FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSFrequently asked questions
Do I need a membership card to enter?
Yes. Admission is reserved for members and the physical membership card is required. A photo of the card does not replace the card.
Can I book a table without creating an account?
Yes. From each event you can choose an available table and enter the required details without creating an account. Booking verification is by email.
Does a booking also count as membership?
No. A table booking and membership are separate. A booking does not replace the membership requirements for admission.
How do SocioPro and SPU Card work?
The club uses SocioPro and SPU Card to support membership management. Links to these services are shown on the website when configured by the club.
Where can I find events and bookings?
Upcoming nights are listed under Events. Open an event to see its details and, when bookings are enabled, book directly from that page.
Where can I see photos from the nights?
Photos published by the club are available in the Gallery section.
How can I contact the club?
Use the Contact form at the bottom of the Home page. If configured by the club, email, phone and social channels are also shown in the footer.
How can I get a membership card?
To become a member, an admission application must be submitted and the Statute accepted. Membership is acquired following admission approved by the Board of Directors. For minors, the application must be signed by a parent or guardian. The physical or digital card records the membership position managed by the Circolo.
Is the membership card physical or digital?
Circolo Peruviano provides both physical and digital membership cards. In both cases the member must be registered in the system. An email address must be associated with the digital card; a verification code is sent to that address for personal access.
How does the digital card work and why are screenshots invalid?
SPU Card uses a dynamic QR code that changes automatically every 30 seconds. An authorised staff member verifies it at the entrance using the control system. Photos and screenshots of the QR are therefore not valid and do not replace the original digital card.
Can I lend, share or modify my membership card?
No. The card is personal and may not be lent, transferred or shared. Attempts to alter, forge, manipulate or fraudulently use a card may result in refused entry and, under the Circolo rules, an exclusion measure.
What do I need to present to enter?
Admission to Circolo Peruviano is reserved for members. A valid membership card is required, together with a valid identity document when requested by the staff responsible for entry checks.
Can I book a table if I am not yet a member?
Yes. A booking can be made even if you are not yet a member. The booking only reserves the table: it is not a membership card and does not automatically guarantee entry. Admission to Circolo Peruviano is reserved for members and the entry requirements and checks still apply.
What are SocioPro and SPU Card?
SocioPro and SPU Card are software tools developed by Carlos Ramirez to facilitate membership, card and entrance-check management at Circolo Peruviano. SocioPro supports authorised staff with membership management and member-status checks. SPU Card lets members access their digital card using the associated email address and a verification code. They are not advertising platforms, and member data is not sold or made available to third parties for advertising purposes.
How is my data used?
Data is used for the purposes necessary for membership management, the membership card and access checks. It is not sold or used to send third-party advertising. Access is limited to authorised staff and, where technically necessary, parties involved in providing the services under applicable data-protection rules.
I changed email or no longer have access to the associated address. What should I do?
For security reasons, members cannot directly change the email address associated with the digital card. It can only be changed by authorised staff at the entrance of Circolo Peruviano after the required identity checks. A request by social media, message or another person is not sufficient.
What is the Blacklist and how is it checked?
The Blacklist is used to manage exclusion measures concerning people who engage in disruptive behaviour, harass or bother others, or seriously breach Circolo rules. During the membership-card check, the system verifies the member status. If an active exclusion measure is recorded, an alert is shown to the authorised staff member carrying out the check and entry is refused in accordance with the recorded measure.
Is smoking allowed inside the Circolo?
No. Smoking inside Circolo Peruviano is strictly prohibited. The designated area outside the premises must be used for smoking.
